From ministry, to landlord, to mailbox money.
I spent 15 years in ministry with Campus Outreach. Along the way I bought a duplex across the street from our house. For ten years it paid us about $600 a month, and that was a real blessing.
Then we had kids. Every nap time I was running across the street to fix something. Self-managing was problematic at best. I had basically given myself another job.
So I went looking for a better way: the income of real estate, without the hassle. That is passive investing. Today I help other busy families do the same, so their money can work while they focus on what matters most.
