𝟱 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
As a leader, whenever you delegate a task, you need to make it clear what level of authority you are conferring to others:

𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟭: Do exactly what I tell you to do. I've already figured out what needs to be done.

𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟮: Look into the topic and report back. We'll discuss it, and then I'll make the decision and tell you what to do.

𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟯: Research the options, outline the pros and cons, and recommend a course of action. If I agree with your choice, you're authorized to proceed.

𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟰: Make a decision and then update me on what you did. I trust you to do the research and make the best decision.

𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟱: Decide on your own. No need to check back with me. I have full confidence in your judgment, and you have my support.
